The Problem We Saw
The average student unlocks their phone 150 times a day — during class, during study time, during the moments that shape who they become. Social media platforms are engineered by the world's best designers to be irresistible, and children are bearing the cost.
Teachers were losing 30% of instruction time to device management. Parents were watching their children's focus fracture in real time. And the students themselves — many of them — wanted to focus. They just couldn't.
Our Approach
Zonifyr doesn't lock students out of their phones. It doesn't track them, surveil them, or treat them as problems to be managed. It creates Clarity Zones — defined geographic areas where distracting apps quietly step aside so focus can step in.
When a student enters a Clarity Zone, their learning environment activates. When they leave, everything returns to normal. No lectures. No enforcement. Just a space that works with their brain instead of against it.
What Guides Us
- Privacy First — We never track student location outside school hours. Ever. No data is sold, shared, or monetised.
- Consent Always — Every student and parent opts in. Zonifyr only works where everyone agrees it should.
- Focus, Not Control — We are not a surveillance tool. We exist to help children choose focus, not to force it.
- Children First — Every decision we make is tested against one question: is this genuinely good for kids?
The Bigger Picture
We aren't anti-technology. We're pro-children. We believe smartphones and social media have a place in young lives — just not during every place. Zonifyr exists to create moments of genuine presence: student to teacher, student to student, student to idea.
That is the world we are building toward — one school, one classroom, one Clarity Zone at a time.
